Built from a refined blend of inherently biodegradable paraffinic and synthetic waxes, Squirt Performance Hot Wax offers exceptional penetration, low friction, and long-lasting performance — even under the toughest racing and adventure conditions.

Traditional melt-wax lubricants often require intensive mechanical break-in procedures — such as manually articulating the chain over a pipe — to free up stiff links before installation on the bike. Thereafter these waxes require up to 90-120 minutes to set properly and reach their optimal performance. Squirt Performance Hot Wax, by contrast, is race-ready straight out of the pot and only needs a simple pull-through of the chain between your forefinger and thumb to ensure smooth articulation. This saves valuable time and effort for riders and offers a significant efficiency gain for team mechanics managing multiple bikes and chains under tight turnarounds.

Why it works

We applied advanced thermal and formulation technologies to precisely calibrate the melt behavior and crystallinity of the wax matrix. This ensures that the final product can be remelted multiple times without compromising performance prematurely, making it both reusable and consistent across applications. By combining synthetic and paraffinic wax fractions, Squirt Performance Hot Wax Hot Wax delivers deep penetration into chain internals when molten, then solidifies into a smooth, high-strength lubricating film that remains clean, durable, and effective for long distances between treatments.

To further enhance drivetrain protection, Squirt Performance Hot Wax incorporates a proprietary, fast-acting antiwear additive system that forms a load-activated protection film  eliminating metal-on-metal contact between chain components. This is complemented by the inclusion of three different particle size hexagonal boron nitride (hBN), a high-purity solid lubricant known for its ultra-low friction and excellent stability in conditions typically encountered in cycling. The hBN works with the proprietary antiwear additive system and fills microscopic surface irregularities, enabling moving parts to glide over one another with minimal resistance, resulting in a quiet, efficient drivetrain that thrives in the most demanding riding conditions.

Standard UK postage if Free for items £20 or over sent via Royal Mail 48 service. Postage for orders under £20 is £3.99.

We send all orders as quickly as we can which is normally the same working day if ordered before 3pm (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays). Small packages are sent using Royal Mail First Class, Tracked 48 and Special Delivery for higher value items. Bulkier items like Wheels, Frames and Home Trainers are sent with one of our couriers either DPD or DHL. All orders are fully insured and most will require a signature on delivery. Standard delivery is 1-2 working days. Order places over the weekend or on Bank Holiday will be sent with our next working day collection.

We offer an optional Next Working Day Delivery service for orders placed before 3pm. (Next Working Day Delivery when ordered Monday to Friday Before 3pm - Excluding Bank Holidays). Depending on the size and weight of the item and your postal location we send with Royal Mail Special Delivery 1pm our Courier DPD or DHL on their 24 hour service. Remote Highland and Island locations may not be guaranteed next working day.

International shipping rates are calculated by the weight and value of the items and the country they are being shipped to. To get a shipping quote just add the items to your basket and use the Shipping Estimator at the bottom of the basket page to calculate the shipping rates to your country. Depending on weight and value of your order we send with Royal Mail Standard Airmail, Signed For or Tracked service. Standard delivery time is 5-15 working days for most European countries and 5-25 working days for most other countries.

We offer DHL Express as a much quicker delivery option for Europe, US and Worldwide. Most of Europe and USA is 1-2 working day delivery. Other countries 2-4 working days.

Please be aware that Import Duties, Local Taxes and Courier handling fees may be payable when importing into most countries. The UK is no longer part of the European Union so import charges will be due when shipping to most countries.
