The Aspen ST (or Fastpen, as it's sometimes known) is a new ultra-low-profile XC tyre based on the Aspen. Eagle-eyed race fans may recognize the Aspen ST tread pattern from spy shots, but it's never been publicly available until now. Designed to be even faster than its predecessor, the Aspen ST is sure to catapult you to the podium, just like it helped Nino Schurter to countless World Cup wins. The Team Spec Aspen and both versions of the Aspen ST are available in 29x2.40 and 29x2.25 options.
The Aspen ST debuts a much lighter and faster 170-TPI casing and feature an exclusive Team Spec hot patch. Because these tyres are designed to be used solely in racing conditions and feature pro-level speed and rolling resistance, they aren’t suitable for the average weekend ride.
EXO PROTECTION
An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tyres. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tyre remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high.
TUBELESS READY
Tubeless downhill set-ups are a great way to shave some weight and spend more time in the bike park or shuttling hot laps on your local runs. Sealant-compatible rubber is used with the familiar Maxxis dual-ply 60 TPI downhill construction and butyl insert for support and rim protection in order to offer the benefits of increased grip and reliability. A Tubeless Ready bead securely locks to the rim and the foldable bead provides additional weight savings.
WIDE TRAIL XC
Maxxis recommends using 2.40″ Wide Trail XC tyres on 30mm internal rims. The tyres are compatible with rims as narrow as 25mm, but we do not recommend exceeding 30mm wide.
MAXXSPEED
The new MaxxSpeed is our top-shelf rubber compound for XC racing. It's a high-silica content compound which reduces rolling resistance while also enhancing wet traction. Compared to the previous 3C MaxxSpeed, the new compound has approximately 25% less rolling resistance in a lab setting (using the same tread pattern, construction, and tire pressure). In a real world setting, our testing shows the new compound can save up to a minute over the course of a 90-minute race.

Standard UK postage if Free for items £20 or over sent via Royal Mail 48 service. Postage for orders under £20 is £3.99.
We send all orders as quickly as we can which is normally the same working day if ordered before 3pm (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays). Small packages are sent using Royal Mail First Class, Tracked 48 and Special Delivery for higher value items. Bulkier items like Wheels, Frames and Home Trainers are sent with one of our couriers either DPD or DHL. All orders are fully insured and most will require a signature on delivery. Standard delivery is 1-2 working days. Order places over the weekend or on Bank Holiday will be sent with our next working day collection.

Remote Highland and Island locations may not be guaranteed next working day.
International shipping rates are calculated by the weight and value of the items and the country they are being shipped to. To get a shipping quote just add the items to your basket and use the Shipping Estimator at the bottom of the basket page to calculate the shipping rates to your country. Depending on weight and value of your order we send with Royal Mail Standard Airmail, Signed For or Tracked service. Standard delivery time is 5-15 working days for most European countries and 5-25 working days for most other countries.
We offer DHL Express as a much quicker delivery option for Europe, US and Worldwide. Most of Europe and USA is 1-2 working day delivery. Other countries 2-4 working days.
Please be aware that Import Duties, Local Taxes and Courier handling fees may be payable when importing into most countries. The UK is no longer part of the European Union so import charges will be due when shipping to most countries.
We accept most major credit and debit cards along with PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay through our secure checkout process.
